Hello! Our wedding.

Hello everybody! So I've decided to start a new blog about our lives. I want to start now because we do have a little bit to catch up on seeing as we've now been married just over a month.

Jeff and I met back in 2005 in 9th grade. We were friends all throughout high school and after we graduated. I started writing Jeff when he left on his mission to Sweden. I left on my mission to Oklahoma about 5 months before he came home. We continued writing until I came home. After three years of not seeing each other, I saw him the Sunday after I came home and since then we haven't gone more than one day without talking to each other. Our first date was November 22, 2013. We were officially a couple on December 20, 2013. Our first kiss was on December 22, 2013. We got engaged on May 22, 2014. We got married on August 22,2014. We went with a little pattern with the 22nd day of the month... :)

Some pictures from the day we got engaged!

Our wedding day was a crazy day! Our sealing was at 12:20. We had to be there at 10:50. As we were checking my dress into the temple, I realized that I forgot my sash to go around my dress. Luckily, we were able to get a hold of my sister and have her bring it. It was really great to be in the temple with my best friend and love of my life. I was very emotional as we were being sealed. It was great to have so many family members and friends there with us to participate in our special day.

After our sealing and after I got dressed in my wedding dress, I felt pretty sick. The temple ladies had me sit down and they got me a drink of water and some saltine crackers. They were really nice and helped me out a lot. I went and met up with Jeffrey. We went outside and met up with all of our loved ones! We were able to take all our pictures before it started to rain! Literally, as we were walking back into the temple, it started to rain pretty good. I felt bad as I walked past the room where some of the other brides were getting ready to go outside. It was still a beautiful day outside though.

We then headed to the luncheon at Jeff's house. We were going to have it outside, but because of the rain we had to move it to the garage and car port. It worked out really well though. We had pizza and it was super delicious! As it was getting closer to the time of the reception it was looking like it was going to rain. We had taken down the tables in the backyard so they wouldn't get wet. Everybody was waiting for me to give the go ahead for setting up the tables again. The reception was supposed to start at 6 and so at about 5:15 I said to go ahead and set up the tables. We had a few canopies that we set up so people didn't get wet. At around 5:30 the rain really started to come down. I said that we should move it to the church. I did have a little breakdown because I had been looking forward to having our reception in the Sandberg's backyard for a while. However, we were super blessed and had a ton of people to help move the reception to the church.

When I got to the church, I went to a room to change and just calm down a little bit and stop crying. I'm lucky that people were willing to help set up and get everything looking great in such a short amount of time. I was scared to go out to the cultural hall, but as I walked in, things were looking really good. People had started to show up so we got in our little line as everybody was finishing setting things up. I was very pleased and happy with how things turned out. It was beautiful and special. I am so grateful for the many of you that helped us out and came to support us. We are still working on thank you cards, so if you haven't gotten one, don't give up on us yet! :)

Here are some pictures from our wedding day:
